About the Project

The goal here was to create a hideaway guest space while integrating the client’s framed photographs. A custom curved track above and below from steel with brown+black patina, allows easy movement of photo panels. The open position reveals a folding bed, shelving and cabinetry, all by IRONGRAIN. This casework was designed and clad to mimic the room’s interior trim, giving the illusion of being a wall. When the panels open the actual wall and a cozy retreat lies behind.
